As part of his latest consultation, David Skaith, Mayor for York and North Yorkshire, along with Jo Coles, Deputy Mayor for Policing, Fire and Crime, visited the Walmgate area of York to gather people’s views on the amounts they are willing to pay for North Yorkshire Police and North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service from their council tax bill, also known as the precepts.
