Police – Statement of accounts

The Police, Fire and Crime commissioner and Chief Constable are required under the Accounts and Audit Regulations to produce a Statement of Accounts annually. 

Financial Year 2023/2024:

An audit opinion has been issued on the financial statements for the period ending 6 May 2024, but the audit certificate has not yet been issued.
This is due to the auditors not yet being able to report to the National Audit Office in respect of Whole of Government Accounts, they are awaiting guidance from National Audit Office regarding this.
